Happy New Year!

Greetings from the great big sea!  Had the 2-7 watch last night, so I slept through the ringing in of the New Year.  Been busy out here, and trying not to fall into the mundane.  I have been reading, running, and just getting through the days.

We are 2/3rds of the way through our deployment, and I couldn't be happier.  I will be coming home soon, being reunited with my guy, my pup, and my family and friends. They have given me a great deal of support while on this deployment!  I couldn't have gotten this far without them.

I now have to go into planning mode.  New apt, new town, travels to and from my home town..Sweet Home Chicago!

Please continue to pray for my shipmates here, as well as throughout the Navy who are deployed during this holiday season.  May their homecomings be full of happiness and joy!
